National
Land Tenure Conference
The
National Land Tenure Conference will be taking place in
Durban from the 26th November to the 30th November. The
conference is organized by the Department of Land Affairs
and has the theme “Finding Solutions, Securing Rights”.
Marc Wegerif of Nkuzi will be presenting a paper titled
“Creating Long term Tenure Security for Farm Dwellers”.
Nkuzi has also arranged for community delegates from the
Limpopo Province and Gauteng to attend the conference. The
community delegates include farm residents and people from
communal areas where the tenure arrangements are not clear.
