SERVICES
Nkuzi provides a range of services all related to directly
assisting agrarian reform projects or influencing the policy and legislative
environment governing agrarian reform.
Services provided include:
- Community facilitation
for land reform projects
- Supporting community organising
- Land claimant validation and verification
- Land Reform and Land Rights Advice
- Dissemination of information on land rights and
land reform
- Organising training for land reform projects
- Training in REFLECT (an adult basic education
methodology)
- Negotiation Skills
- Participatory Community Research
- Policy Analysis
- Research Related to Land and Agrarian Reform
- Project Planning
- Provision of Legal Services
These services are provided for the rural poor who
have land claims, need more land or face insecure tenure especially
on farms. Nkuzi also implements agrarian reform related projects,
or assists on a contract basis for government and other institutions.
The provision of these services is done through
five main programme areas: Community Support Programme; Policy and
Research; Community Organising and Training; Sustainable Livelihood
Promotion; and Legal Services.
